Hi, I’ve just started using the X2 and on a 40 minute activity there’s just under 2% Other Rhythm (split over 3 markers). On each marker the ECG shows one beat with either an elongation or slight irregularity. For those that have more experience with the X2, is there a degree of error/noise with the ECG (especially when moving around) that may…Read More

I just ordered Four Frontier X2 to better track my heart valves. I’m 78, at the gym 5x a week for 1 1/2 hrs/session, combination stretching, weights, bands and some cardio.
I have no idea where to set the alarms… heart rate, breathing and strain. Any suggestions?-
When I first got mine, I continued workouts as usual to get a baseline range of these measurements. The FF graphs are color coded to help identify areas of possible concern. So far I have left my alerts to the default settings for critical moments, although I might lower the heart strain alert closer to my upper range.

Does anyone know what the blue chest strap is for, supplied as standard along with a black chest strap which I am currently using?
-
The Blue and Black straps are identical, other than the color there is no difference both are medium to double extra large size. They supply you with 2 straps in case you damage one you have a spare while you order another. I use the blue strap and let my wife use the black strap when we go to the track, I will do my sprints and when i am done, I…Read More

Is there a way to change the max heart rate value from 210. I know what mine is it 170?
-
Please elaborate further, If you are referring to Alerts, you can set a single buzz or double buzz alarm to notify you if your heart rate goes above or below the limit that you choose. The full range for the alert can be from 0 to 255. so you can set your alert at 170 with an upper limit if you want the alert to buzz when you reach or pass the 170…Read More

I get those occasional odd shaped beats – most likely to be ectopic beats, my cardiologist says they are nothing to worry abiut.
