  • Just chillin. Put dinner in the oven. Relaxing however starting to feel daily burden of anxiety take hold. I’m panicking because I have no medication for it until possibly tomorrow.

  • What’s the difference between Max strain and Heart strain? They are always very different numbers. What’s the connection?

Max Heart Strain represents the peak value of Heart Strain recorded during each workout. Heart Strain is a measurement based on the ST-segment deviation recorded by the Frontier X from the CC5 Lead position. • My HRV seems to be very low – about 4ms on average. I am fit and healthy and do mainly cycling – just done 4 hours at 185W output which I think is decent fitness. HR between 62 and 136 for those 4 hours with average of 120. All my stats seem fine except the HRV which seems extremely low. Should I be concerned? Can I do anything about it?

      • Hey Nick, I am a cyclist as well and find the same thing. My HRV is low through activitiy. Usually increases when resting or sleep.

    • Hi Nick, apologies if you already know this .. but the way hrv is mathematically calculated means that there is an inverse (but non linear) relationship between HR and HRV – i.e. it’s quite normal for HRV to go down when you exercise and up when you are resting – just on the basis of the fact that your underlying heart rate is higher in teh former…Read More

  • Having to get an Angiogram on Thursday to determine why my heart is failing. They can’t determine what’s causing the EF to be at 35-38% with no structural abnormalities, scarring, or valvular issues.

    Hope it can be fixed.
