I am somewhat confused by Heart Rate Variation HRV. On your description you say “the higher the better” however I would think that a high HRV suggests that an irregular heart beat thus meaning arrythmia. The vertical black line on your Heart Rate graph indicate that you have pressed the Frontier X/X2 button down while recording an activity. This helps you mark that time for anything significant such as lap times, symptoms or anything else you would like to come back to.
