  • I’m curious what’s consider “other rhythm” on the ECG? My resting heart rate is quite low (40-50s) and I tend to get 5-60% of my time classified as “other rhythm” depending on the time of day and activities (working, resting, sleeping). It’s higher during sleeping so I was wondering if the other rhythm that was getting picked up was actually brad…Read More

  • Hi all,

The heart rhythm reading usually shows about 20% “other” and 80% normal.

I check my heart in many other ways and have no issues apart from the odd ectopic beat.

I am wondering how sinister the 20% “other” reading is or if it is expected.

If so would you expect a fully normal rhythm even when working hard?

    Thoughts?

  • Hi all,

I am a new user and I am trying to do an overnight ecg check but it keeps cutting out after an hour. Any ideas how I can stop this happening.

    • Hi Ian, don’t think the ECG function works for longer than a hour. You will need to set it to Activity (Probably best choosing Sleep) and review the ECG in the morning.

  • Does it track steps too? I didn’t expect that.

  • Hello, I was swimming today. According to history it shows max heart strain as.25 in red color however when I hit on that activity and go inside the average heart strain is in blue color and is 0.01 I don’t know if it is considered ok or not . I see 2 different values and I don’t know which one I should go by. I attached both screenshots

    • Hi Frederick – I also use the frontier during water sports so can give you my advice for what its worth (please note I have no affiliation with Fourth – I am simply another user) The 0.25 figure in red is showing you the MAX strain that was recorded during your workout session – the 0.01 blue figure is showing you the AVERAGE strain recorded. It…Read More
