    • I was instructed by cardiologist for me their was no limit. For you I don’t know.

      • I assume that you are referring to a prolonged PR interval, but you need to confirm that just be sure that we are talking about the same thing.

  • There is lots of literature showing a correlation between AFib and stroke , but my understanding is that there is no demonstrated causal relationship. There is a relatively recent bmj article that shows that people who have had surgery to resolve AFib have an unchanged chance of stroke.
To me this points to the fact that there may be some common…Read More

    • The reason for stroke risk for afib is that blood can pool in the heart during an episode and if the episode lasts long enough then clotting can occur risking a stroke.

If you fix the afib then that risk “should” go away.

      • Apart from the fact that there’s no scientific studies that have showed this, to my knowledge. The pooling hypothesis is exactly that , a sensibly sounding hypothesis but with no sound research to back it up. I was diagnosed with Atrial Flutter many years ago and had a catheter ablation that completely resolved it – when I was later diagnosed…Read More

  • What GPS unit is compatible?

    • When using your Frontier X2 with your mobile phone during your activity, the GPS data is picked up. We also integrate GPS data from compatible Garmin devices.

      • I would be really interested in an article or FAQ that explains how the X2 can receive data from a Garmin device (I cycle and use an Edge 1030 Plus, not a watch). This appears to indicate that there is no need to connect the X2 to the phone app prior to starting an outdoor activity.
Is GPS data really received from the Garmin device “into” the X2…Read More

        • Hi Kevin,

If youve integrated your Garmin Connect account with your Frontier X App, you should receive GPS data recorded on your Frontier X App as long as you have logged simultaneous workouts on both.( Even if your Frontier X was used without pairing to the Frontier X app)

Could reset the Garmin integration in settings? Please reach out to…Read More

          • EXCELLENT – I hadn’t realised that the Garmin Connect integration was a two-way communication, I had assumed it was simply an activity transfer to Garmin and I didn’t want that.
I now have both a GPS map from Garmin and the FF App because I had to start the device from the app. A double button press wouldn’t activate the device when I tried, it…Read More

  • After a sweaty run, Is it better to remove the device from the strap to dry out, leave connected or it doesn’t matter?
