  • I am surpassing my weekly training load, is there a way for me to set my weekly training load so I can have a goal to meet?

  • Is there a way to set the zones for training? The default is below my zones.

  • Low heart rate

I’m 55 and have a low resting heart rate – when I sleep I get down to 35-38 bpm. I’ve always played sport and even when I max out my heart never gets above 145/150. Does this mean my 1-5 training zones are lower than indicated ?

Your Maximum heart rate is the highest heart rate you are generally able to sustain under normal circumstances. The Frontier X uses (207-(0.7 x age)) to estimate your…Read More

    • Yes. There equations for max HR vs age are gross approximations and are only valid on a population scale. There can easily be a +/- 20 bpm variation from those equations for the individual. Your values are on the lower end of what I would expect. The only way to figure out your max HR is to get warmed up and then do an effort, such as running up a…Read More

  • How is the percentage of other rhythm calculated? It isn’t a percentage of beats.

      • Is there any way of identifying those sections on the ecg to have a look at what is going on? Eg I had 0.7% “other rhythm” during a 7 hour sleep. How do I identify them on the ecg?

      • Thanks for this info, I was wondering how it worked too, as it’s obviously not a percentage of beats.
