What happens for an activity recording in progress when the device runs out of battery ? Is the recorded data lost ? Or will it sync upon charging the battery ?

I’m not a doctor. But, it looks like you just put on the device, you forgot to wet the pads, and you were moving too much while the strap wasn’t tight enough. At the 16 second mark everything looks normal. But I’d check to see if that J segment is normal for you.

My guess is the sensor was moved while you were wearing it. Try running an real-time “ECG” on your smartphone and then move the device and your body around and see how the graph reacts.

How do you set the default to cycling? I only cycle and have to change it every time…ugh

I too wanted this and have achieved it.
From what I understand the next activity you record inherits the last activity. So before you record you next activity change the activity type to cycling from then on every activity will inherit cycling.
This usually defaults back to something else after an update so it not permanent.

With regard to your query, Fourth Frontier says, “we currently do not analyze at a beat to beat level. We analyze each 20 seconds session of ECG. Hi, Once device battery runs out further recording will not happen but all activity recorded up to that moment will be saved on the device and will sync up on charging
