  • Hi, I’m new to this monitor and trying to get my head around how to use the data for analysis. I seem to get a small percentage of the ecg which is classed as other rhythm. 1. Is the other rhythm everts marked on the ECG as O? 2. If this is the case how can you easily see the ecg trace in these regions?

    • Click on the Heart Rate graph above where the “Os” appear and the you’ll see the ECG strip appear above for that area of the workout. You can scroll left or right using the left/right arrow keys on your keyboard.

    • You can also click and hold just to the left of one of the ‘O’ markers and slide your mouse past the marker. This will create a highlighted patch on the colour bars and a zoomed in piece of ECG strip.

  • Should I be concerned about 0.08 other rhythm on ecg?

    • This is a question for an electrophysiologist or maybe a cardiologist. It will depend on what those other rhythms are, but as someone that has had AFIB and lots of wonky bets before my catheter ablation (so far successful), I would think that 0.08 is a low load and not really too much to worry about unless you are having symptoms. If you feel…Read More

    • I find the ‘%other’ a particularly useless statistic for anything other than very long term ‘directional’ information. It is not the same as the % of your heart beats that are ‘ectopic’ . In fact the range of numbers of ectopic beats that can give the same ‘%other’ is huge (I worked the maths through on a one hour recording of my own, with an…Read More

  • hello. with the premium membership, for sleep sessions you would need to use your web dashboard. Is that the same as health dashboard you view other health stats on.

    • Thank you for reaching out to community. Yes, you can use the web dashboard to view your sleep sessions. It’s the same as the health dashboard where you check your other health stats.

  • What does “1%” other rhythm mean??? Is it that 1 beat out of every 100 is “other”? Or is it calculated per minute, i.e., any minute that has an “other” beat is deemed “other? Does anyone know? Thank you!

    • Hi Martin.

Thank you for reaching out to us through The Community.

With regard to your query we would like to let you know that this is due to the fact that we currently do not analyse at a beat to beat level. We analyse each 20 seconds session of ECG. If there exists a deviation that segment is marked out as ‘Other’ rhythm. The Percentage is…Read More

      • This makes it a not very useful stat, in my opinion, especially the prominance it takes on the dashboard. Given that you identify every ‘other’ rythem – surely it can’t be that difficult to count them up and then show the total number of beats ? Or if not – can we be provided access to the underlying data and do thsi analsyis ourselves ?
