  • I am on a beta-blocker, Atenelol, which affects heart rate measurements. What setting would I need to change on my device to account for atenolol?

  • Hi folks, I’ve just started using this. Can anyone tell me what heart strain setting I should use when walking? I’m 77. Gerry

    • Hi Gerry,

Lab-based exercise stress tests are stopped when ECG changes show that your Cardiac Strain crosses 0.2 mV. We suggest you set your Cardiac Strain alert to 0.18 mV to get a double buzz when you’re getting close to a zone that may be unsafe for your heart.
