  • My first 3 mile run with the Frontier X. Fastest I’ve ever run it…

    However, my Cardiac Strain was .02 … surely this isn’t right? particularly as;

    my Heart Rate was 170bpm, Breathing Rate was 52pm and Body Shock was 154.

    I’m not sure I can trust the Cardiac score…the AI claimed this was a moderate work out! yet…it was the hardest…Read More

    • The Cardiac Strain value can still be low and it just means that the heart is getting enough oxygen. • I see we have a new HRV figure on the app which.is great however I’m not sure what this headline figure represents. Is it max/min or average?
    I”m wondering if I can use this figure as a trend guide to my fitness over time or whether that would be too simplistic?

  • I just ordered the FrontierX This is the way of the future. In 10 years you will be able to monitor your heart 24/7 (and other vitals) with a simple(r) attachment. We are really just in the beginning of health self-monitoring. I think it is phenomenal!

    • yes. probably. If you have an implanted Medtronics loop recorder, there should be a way that the consumer/patient can see their tracings in real time. But that feature is not part of their software. But it would seem to be an easy software upgrade. Or a hack that would allow it.

  • Crazy question….how do you turn the strap monitor off??
