Help me understand what you are looking for when you are monitoring cardiac strain. I have episodes of A Fib. Will your cardiac strain scale detect this? Before the event or during the event?

It would be difficult to put a finger on Covid for my troublesome atrial fibrillation. I have done lots of endurance training and racing over many years and I am at the right age for this problem. I’m in the same boat. My heart started to do funny things only a couple months before Covid jabs were a thing. Correlation is not causation.

Newbie question. I just recorded my first workout. A high intensity bike ride. Cardio strain registered -0.02 overall and was basically zero the whole time. Is that normal when working hard? Or do you reach levels like .15 or .2 only when on the brink of exhaustion? Otherwise, the ECG and pulse readings seemed fine…

Does anyone know if the monitor is the same as a V1 lead and is it normal to have some downward spikes. If not V2 google says it could be enlarged ventricle or ischemia.

When worn as indicated in the User Manual, the Frontier X is a single channel bipolar ECG in the CC5 Lead position. This lead position is used in laboratory settings to measure the hearts electrical activity during exercise.
