Curious if any users have experienced very low cardiac strain readings. I have recorded about 20 activities, some pretty hard like cycling to exhaustion, yet my cardiac strain score never exceeds .02. Seems odd.

Subsequent to my successful ablation I have decided against tempting fate and pushing my limits. Given my goals of sustainable recreational cycling, Grand Fondo’s, and wine tours and not Masters 65+ TT competitions, I am all about Zone 2 training. My plan is to get 8 to 10 hours of Zone 2 per week. To keep this from getting uninteresting I plan to…Read More

Thank you for the new membership to the forum.
Just received the device yesterday. My history of afib and cardioversion in December 2021. No incidents but my PCP recommend I purchase some kind of wearable device. After researching I choose because of the continuous real time ecg. Can’t wate to review my data at my next exam. -
Will Afib show up on the rhythm pie chart as other rhythm or will it be a different color?
-
Hello, As Frontier X is not a diagnostic device, any deviations from Normal Rhythm (including Afib) will be classified as Others. You can schedule a complimentary session with one of our Cardiac Coaches to interpret and understand your data better. Please reach out to support@fourthfrontier.com if you wish to do so.

My understanding is that cardiac strain is measuring, somewhat indirectly the morphology of the heart. So ideally you don’t want to get any cardiac strain. But anything under 0.1 is insignificant. But I record more strain when at rest…. when I do a sub 20 min 5k my strain is like a flat line mostly. On 0.
