ASD which stands for Atrial Septal Defect is what we commonly call as “a hole in the heart”. You have the left side of the heart on the right side and the twain shall never meet normally. But sometimes people are born with a little hole in the heart and the impure and the pureblood mix. Once the ASD is fixed, majorly surgically, usually there should be no limitations to the individual. Of course, each case is different and I’m not commenting on you specifically, but in general, once an ASD is fixed, the person should be able to lead a normal life.
