Will the x2 flag up other heart rhythms such as atrial flutter (AFl) where HR is normal but the atrium is contracting more rapidly eg 2,3,4 or 5 atrial contractions for every left ventricle contraction ?

I am now in my mid 60s but still go to the gym most days and concentrate on aerobic activities ie Xtrainer, concept 2 rower, stairmaster stepper and spin classes / watt bikes.
I used to be a competitive road at times, and x country runner to a decent standard, over distances such as 5k, 5M,10K,10M and half marathon until OA of the knees…Read More

Hi Malcolm, i get a few of these and for me they seem to coincide with working fairly hard on intervals, and on occasions i may feel a palpitation – and more often than not, i see the marker symbol on the HR graph. If i click on that point, it also then lines up the 20 sec ECG trace, and the unusual heart beat tends to stand out – like the example…Read More

avg of -0.01. HRV also varied from min of 3 to max of 44 with avg of 12. HR varied from 88 to 126 avg and max 141. I am now 65 years old and used to compete at road and xcountry over 5k, 5M,10K,10Mile, half marathon and 20 miles at local, area, regional and national level events til 1998 when i retired due to OA of the knees.
I am however well…Read More -
Are there any plans to increase the sampling rate for HRV. If its only updated/sampled every 20 secs, i would have thought that its accuracy is being compromised. Similarly the heart strain metric – which during a 25 min session on the stairmaster stepper at an average of 99 SPM, was a fairly demanding aerobic set, yet the heart strain vaied only…Read More

I suspect that the x2 picks up AFl, as the following shows ie what looks like the atrium beating approx 4 times for each ventricular beat ie
