    • My best guess is BER

    • Hi, the ‘taller’ beats look ventricular – how were you feeling? There seems to be p wave activity too but I’d probably show this to your GP to be on the safe side.

      • thank you @bluntkid. I felt completely fine…I slowed immediately to a cool down effort when the strain buzz hit. The series lasted more than a minute.. and again the next day while i was hiking. Never felt off but the ecg says otherwise. Reading since i posted this, BER and acute pericarditis present similarly and one can mask the other. I’m definitely taking your advice and showing this to my drs. i definitely get early beats but this pattern did give me pause. (corrected)

    • Update: ten days later had another run of PVCs while sitting at my desk. I felt them, strapped on the x2, and started a live ecg…it was a good thing. when things started getting bad, I had a recording of what happened–much better than describing symptoms that are over. I’ve been in the hospital for a day and will be at least until tomorrow. If you see a series of (B)ER like this, and especially if it is combined with PVCs, get it checked out. One here or there, not much to worry about…series can tell a different story. Worth noting–they have not seen anything in the brief 20 second ecgs they take every so often here in the hospital…but they have seen the events recorded by the x2 and the labs say something is happening.
