    Frontier Heart Seminar Question:

I’m a 50yo triathlete/quadrathlete (European Sprint distance triathlon champion in 2013 and since then I’ve been the British Quadrathlon trophy series winner. I’m also a windsurfer, surfer etc. Recently (June) had a 100% RCA blockage caused by a clot leading to a heart attack and 2 stents. My Frontier X should arrive tomorrow so I’m hoping it will help me return to some training in a heart-safe manner. Do you have any information on how best to go about this?

    • It’s an honour to have an athlete of your calibre using the Frontier X! Considering your Cardiac history, it is important to first get cleared by a doctor before undertaking any strenuous exercise.

Some of the ways you can best use your Frontier X are the following:
      1. Set your alerts for Cardiac Strain, Heart Rate or Breathing rate depending on your fitness goals to get real time vibration alerts as you train. You can see how to set your alerts here -https://fourthfrontier.tawk.help/article/4-setting-your-alert-levels. You can book a complimentary FHP session with our team to better understand how you can customise this for your goals.
      2. Keep your Training load circle within the Green zone to guide your training volume so that you are not training too much or too little. If your training load circle reaches the Red zone it may indicate that you’re increasing your training too aggressively.
      3. Use your Frontier X during all your workouts to capture your ECG so that it can be reviewed in case you have any concerns during exercise.
      4. Train at an exertion where you are feeling comfortable and gradually increase your intensity and duration!

      We hope this helps!
