Push the red button twice. It’ll buzz to indicate that it’s stopped.

Hi Craig, I got it for just this reason. Make sure the monitor is attached and connected to the app, select start activity (or double press the button) and just go. I have done a couple of days now just recording an ECG as I’m working at my desk. I use the alert button if my Withings watch gives me an Afib alert. I think you could probably get 24 hours from a full charge. Hope that helps.
