  • Hi,
How can I see breathing rate? Can the Apple Watch show this or is there any other device that will work?

    • The value shown as ‘ Effort’ during your activity is the same as your breathing. You will notice that the unit for this value is breaths/min. We are using breathing rate as a measurement of effort because there is a lot of research to show that breathing rate is more closely correlated with perceived effort than heart rate.

He is currently waiting for an extended wear ECG via our GP, but as it’s been four months now with no news from the surgery, he is becoming increasingly worried. Any…Read More

  • Can it be possible to get the R-R values sent to our Garmin or other device over Bluetooth? I know other straps do this. I enabled HRV logging on my Garmin but there is no HRV data stored when using the FF strap. I figured it might be in the .fit file that we can download from the FF dashboard, but there’s no R-R data there either. Can these…Read More

    • I wish the FF ecology was not so closed. My primary sport is cycling and I use PM so for that reason alone I can’t use only the HRM. Also being a data geek I use Apple health as a shared data store for other apps. Garmin connect and Strava also play this role for many.

      • We currently allow you to download .FIT files so that you can upload your Frontier X data into Strava and other platforms. However, please note that a .FIT file can only be generated when GPS data is present for that workout. We will also be adding integration for platforms such as Garmin and Apple Health in the coming few weeks.
